Job Description:
Role Description :
This is a full-time on-site role for a Public Relations Executive located in Chennai. The Public Relations Executive will act as a bridge between the NGO and potential donors by using their expertise in communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning to open doors for donations.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop a comprehensive PR Strategy that aligns with the NGO’s mission and goals.
2. Network with individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations that may have an interest in supporting the NGO’s cause and build rapport.
3. Craft compelling and persuasive messages that effectively communicate the NGO’s mission, and resonate with potential donors, highlighting the importance and urgency of supporting the NGO’s work.
4. Manage media relations to enhance the NGO’s visibility and attract potential donors.
5. Develop and implement a social media strategy, ensuring consistent and engaging content across various platforms and encourage donations.
6. Organize fundraising events, donor appreciation events, and awareness campaigns to motivate prospective donors to contribute to the NGO’s cause.
7. Seek strategic partnerships and sponsorships that align with the NGO’s values and objectives that result in increased visibility and potential donations.
8. Maintain donor stewardship.

Skill Requirements:
Bachelors degree in public relations, communication, marketing or a related field, preferred.
Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and social skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and friendly personality.
Professional appearance.
Passion for seva and service oriented mindset
Willingness to travel
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite..
