MANAGER – TALENT ACQUISITION

Job Summary:

The Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for executing and optimizing recruitment strategies to meet the dynamic hiring needs of aviation ground handling operations. This role will focus on high-volume and specialized hiring across functions such as ramp services, baggage handling, customer service, and technical support. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational recruitment experience, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for building high-performing teams in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning

• Support the Head of Talent Acquisition in developing and implementing recruitment strategies aligned with operational goals.
• Forecast short- and mid-term hiring needs based on flight schedules, seasonal trends, and business expansion.
• Manage workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with HRBPs and operations teams.

Recruitment Operations & Process Management

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for frontline and support roles, ensuring timely and quality hires.
• Optimize sourcing channels including job portals, aviation institutes, employee referrals, and social media.
• Ensure adherence to aviation regulatory standards including background checks and security clearances.
• Standardize interview and selection processes to ensure fairness and consistency.

Employer Branding & Talent Engagement

• Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the aviation sector.
• Build partnerships with aviation training schools and technical institutes for talent pipelines.
• Enhance candidate experience through timely communication, structured onboarding, and feedback loops.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring performance, development, and collaboration.
• Partner with station managers, HRBPs, and department heads to understand hiring needs and deliver solutions.
• Liaise with external recruitment partners and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.

Technology & Analytics

• Utilize ATS and recruitment analytics tools to track hiring metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire).
• Generate recruitment dashboards and reports for leadership review.
• Recommend and implement recruitment technology improvements.

Compliance, Diversity & Inclusion

• Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws, aviation safety standards, and internal policies.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
• Support initiatives related to employee well-being, retention, and internal mobility.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial or team lead role.
• Experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably in aviation, logistics, or similar operational environments.
• Familiarity with aviation compliance and security clearance processes is a strong advantage.
