Who are we looking for?

At Airblack, we’re on an ambitious trajectory of exponential growth, with a goal to amplify our market presence and impact significantly over the next two years. As part of this transformative journey, we are looking for a strategic and analytical Business Analyst to support our data-driven initiatives and help steer our projects to success.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact analytics and insights that drive our strategic decisions and product innovations. This role demands a blend of analytical acumen, technical expertise, and proactive problem-solving skills to navigate complex, multi-phase projects and deliver actionable insights.

What would you be doing?

Dashboard Development & Performance Reporting:

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance comprehensive dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, BI tools, and other analytical platforms
• Create regular performance reports to track key metrics and performance indicators
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership, to drive informed decision-making

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze and interpret large datasets related to business metrics, user behavior, and market performance
• Generate detailed reports and presentations that convey findings and provide actionable recommendations

Stakeholder Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather and understand their data needs and translate business requirements into actionable insights and analytical solutions
• Align data insights with overall business objectives and support strategic planning processes.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data analysis processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy

What makes you a suitable candidate?

We would love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a business or data analyst role, ideally at a Series B-D company, showcasing your ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with stakeholders to develop and maintain Excel and BI dashboards, ensuring these tools deliver actionable insights
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and identify trends that inform strategic decisions
• Excellent SQL and analytical programming skills (including Power BI, Tableau, and Metabase), with a willingness to work closely with large data sets and delve into the details of business processes.
• Excellent communication skills to present data and insights to diverse audiences, including senior management
• Knowledge of Data analysis tools like Google Script, R, Python, Big Query, AWS, Data Pipeline is a big plus
• A degree in MBA, M.Sc, B.Tech, B.Sc., or BA (Commerce or Economics) from top tier college is preferred
