What will you be doing?

To administer the assigned product/module in design engineering scope in a project as per schedule with requisite quality

Operational reporting to Design Lead within Project and Administrative reporting to Functional Manager

Ensure execution of assigned scope according to well-defined guidelines & procedures to deliver accurate output

Ensure design engineering progress of assigned scope

Technical support for project procurement & fabrication for assigned scope

Guide and support subordinates to ensure alignment with Aker Solutions policies, values, QMS

Balancing the project priorities with priorities allocated to the assigned team

Managing expected deliverables from new recruit in Subsea domain.

We think you should have:
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Automobile) or Postgraduate in Engineering (CAD/CAM)

Total work experience of 8+ years in design engineering for various domains such as automobile/material handling/special purpose machines/process equipment

2+ years of experience in leading design team in projects

2+ years of exposure to manufacturing/fabrication

Understanding of good engineering practices in design and drawings

Proficiency in design using 3D CAD tools (Solid Works 2018 onwards)

Good knowledge of codes and standards relevant to design engineering

Good analytical skills and ability to interpret the implication of proposals

Self-motivated and ability to lead small teams

Good communication skills – Both verbal and written
