R&D Engineer for Customer Insights should be conversant with programming and database technologies. Able to understand the product and contribute with new development so as to accelerate the entire pace of Software Development Cycle. Able to rapidly scale on analytics technologies. Is pro-active, solution minded and great team player. Should be hands on developer in design/implementation/testing/automation. Well versed in agile development methodology.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of this role, the following activities should be done as per the expectations of the project scope:

• Analyses, designs, develops and tests products / services / improvements / bug resolutions for integrated hardware / software systems as per customers requirements.

• Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.

• Independently works within broad guidelines and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues.

• Works with substantial discretion and uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements.

  Your skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience as a software developer

• Programming: Java / JavaScript / Python development based on clean code techniques

• Microservices development & deployment using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm

• Knowledge on SQL/NoSQL

• Scripting ( shell, python, perl )

• Continuous Integration, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit and Test automation using technologies like Python, Cucumber

• Expertise in Big Data eco system ( Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Kafka, etc )

• Domain knowledge of 3G, LTE and 5G technologies
