What you will learn and contribute to

• Collaborate with customer teams, architecture office, product line, various delivery units within NOKIA for test planning & timely execution.

• Develop reusable test scripts and keywords using Python language to test various call flows across 5G/4G/3G Domain.

• Execute automated test scripts and perform manual test execution.

• JIRA/QC. Follow-up on defects to closure.

  Job Description

  Key Responsibilities

• Develop reusable test scripts and keywords using Python language to test various call flows across 5G/4G/3G Domain.

• Strong Knowledge on developing test scripts using Robot framework

• Execute automated test scripts and perform manual test execution.

• Strong debugging and failure analysis capability and report defects using

• JIRA/QC. Follow-up on defects to closure.

• Hands-on experience on tools including Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Quality Centre (HP ALM)

  Mandatory Skills:

• Should have 3+ years of relevant experience in Telecom domain

• Good expertise on 5G/4G/3G technologies and should be familiar with the network call flow

• IMS/SDM/EPC domain knowledge

• Wireshark packet analysis

• Experience in Protocol testing including HTTP2, SIP, MAP, Diameter.

• Experience in developing reusable test automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework.

• Good understanding of Agile scrum methodologies.

• Handson experience in Docker containers and Kubernetes.

• Good understanding of Telco Cloud technologies such as NVFI, Open Stack.

• Sound knowledge in Linux/CentOS, TCP/IP stack

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• You have a Telecommunications/Electronics/SW/Computer master’s degree or equivalent through experience

• Up to 25% travel (flexible)

  Nice to have skills:

• Experience in using Spirent (Landslide), SIPP, IPSL protocol simulator

• Experience in working in Nokia specific IMS, EPC, SDM products and solution

• Understanding of 5G network elements and interfaces.

• Understanding of Devops methodologies and tools is plus

• Basic understanding of ML/AI is plus

  Education: B.E/ B.Tech. (ECE/ EEE/ IT/ CSE/ Telecom)/ MCA or higher
