The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure (NI) group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

As a member of The NSDC (Network Services Delivery Centre) Team within the NI Fixed Networks division you will be responsible for the various System Integration activities for our global customers on domains such as SDAN ( software defined access networks, Home wifi, Fixed Wireless Access, ONTES

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about becoming a competent System Integration Specialist within the NSDC NI FN Team with exposure to work with NOKIA customers across the globe? In this role, you will

• Gain general knowledge of Fixed Network solutions, BroadbandNetwork, different PONs (Passive Optical Network) types implementation

• get practical experience with using Python for WEB applications (REST API), React

• Webservices

• Get familiar with containerized software

• familiarize with SDN, Homewifi solutions for Fixed Network (Nokia Altiplano Access controller, SEBA, VOLTHA, and more…) , NWCC

• Intent-Based Networking

• work with the mentor and the team on your own project

• maintain documentation in English

We work with:

• Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, JAVA

• Operating systems: Linux

• Methodologies: CI/CD, Agile, SCRUM

• Next generation technologies

Your skills and experience

• GPON Domain Knowledge

• Hands on expertise on Cloud Technologies (AWS, GKE, RedHat)

• Kubernetes and Docker

• Knowledge of NOKIA FN products such as SDAN, Home wifi

• programming skills (Python, JavaScript, JAVA)

• object oriented programming understanding

• Linux environment knowledge

• problem solving and analytical skills

• Min 12 years of industry experience

• team-player attitude

• good spoken and written English

• work on global customer time zones as per need of projects
