About Fixed Networks

Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of “gigabit to the home” solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don’t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

Job Description:

Ø xPON ONT system level test to make sure the delivery quality in line with customer’s requirement and quality target.

Ø Analyze customer network topology, application and specific service requirement; design test documents including test strategy, test case list and test specification;

Ø Build xPON ONT E2E test environment. Execute test case, analyze test result, co-operate with developer on the bug fix, report test result on schedule.

Ø Follow Quality Process: find, characterize, track and verify defects. Provide detail log to design team if needed.

Ø Field trial test support

Required skills:

Ø Education: Bachelor or above, telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, or related major preferred

Ø Strong technical background in the following fields

Ø * GPON, 10G PON, L2 / L3 Domain, TR69(CWMP), Wifi basics,

Ø * Test instrument, such as Spirent TestCenter, Ixia, etc.

Ø Good knowledge about TCP/IP network and protocols is mandatory

Ø Good knowledge about routing and switching is preferred

Ø Automatic test script writing experience on python and shell is mandatory.

Ø Language ability: English, good, both written and oral.
