Did you know ML scientists were spending 80% of their time on boring data preparation tasks, and that companies were wasting millions in data labeling and computational resources every year? Alectio is solving this fundamental challenge with an innovative, patented combination of active learning, reinforcement learning and meta-learning.

ML is approached in order to democratize AI. We’re headquartered in Silicon Valley
(California) but are a fully remote and international team. With companies across the board trying to become more cost-efficient while being unwilling to give up on the promises of ML, our future is bright and we’re looking for fun yet hard-working people interested in joining our cause.

About this position

We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager combining great written communication skills, a deep desire to engage with people and a serious sense of humor. Your level of experience isn’t as important as your drive, hunger and ability to adapt and learn fast – knowledge and skills can be acquired, love for your job can’t.

Your mission is both incredibly simple and daunting, but the mission is worth the trouble: convince the ML community that models can be trained as accurately with significantly less data, and show them how they can benefit from the idea. The impact is tremendous, from allowing smaller companies to compete with tech giants without the need for expensive computers to reducing the carbon footprint of ML on the environment.

Your target audience will include both established ML professionals and new-comers to the field: we believe that training the next generation of ML scientists to this new way of approaching ML is the right way to ensure a lasting change of mindset. This is not just about promoting our platform: it’s about educating the ML community about what’s coming next.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Help grow a community of followers ready to evangelize the concept of DataPrepOps and Data Curation
• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, news and memes)
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand and messaging consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (LinkedIn + Twitter)
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Generally speaking, make students and younger professionals excited about our Technology

What we look for in a candidate

• 1+ year of experience in social media management
• Proven ability to act as an influencer on social media, preferably towards a technical audience
• Ability to deliver high quality content paying attention to detail
• A lot of creativity which you know how to use to make complex concepts accessible to all audiences
• A genuine desire and sufficient patience to get other people to understand a message you’re trying to convey through social media
• Some serious tech community manager skills (i.e., you know how to keep tech people coming back to a Slack or Discord channel)
• Soft skills, e.g. team player, clear and concise communication, problem-solving skills, sense of humor, and remarkable grit and passion

Even better if you:

• Already have a network of followers who are coming back for your content
• Are the type of person who would create new memes instead of sharing existing ones
• Enjoy creating thought-provoking content rather than just building on existing trends
• Can be diplomatic with followers when need be

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 – ₹1,500,000.00 per year
