Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing, and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA Activities.

• Expert in C# or Java programming. Good in object-oriented programming.

• Responsible for manual and automation testing of UI, API, and mobile apps.

• You will also add to our company’s performance and scalability testing efforts including writing of specialized testing tools for use in testing our mobile apps, web apps, and web services

• Should have Excellent communication, written skills and Analytical skills.

• Good knowledge in Windows, Android and IOS

• Good hands-on experience in API testing

• Good hands-on experience in backend application deployed on cloud and front-end testing mobile app testing.

• Basic knowledge of databases concepts and have expertise in writing DB queries.

• Hands on experience in test automation tools and frameworks like Specflow for API automation and Appium for Mobile test automation.

• Must have worked in DevOps environment and have good exposure in testing deployment scripts and should be able to deploy builds to Cloud environments.

• Expert in testing products deployed in cloud preferably Azure cloud and have used Azure DevOps tool or other test management tool for maintaining test cases, updating the test results and sending the test updates to leads/Manager on timely basis.

• Have expert knowledge in testing concepts, test process, test design skills and testing techniques.

• Must have very good networking knowledge.

• Has very good knowledge on Azure/cloud, DevOps.

• Has experience in functional and nonfunctional testing

• Active member of a highly skilled and motivated testing team

• Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them in to test cases which capture all possible test conditions.

• Engage in cross team collaboration to enhance the test efficiency across the groups.

• Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues.

• Peer reviews for code and design to reduce testability issues

• Onsite experience in testing at customer or partner sites would be beneficial

• Must demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines as required

• Worked in Agile environment

Desired Skills & Abilities:

• Experience in hardware, firmware and software integration testing

• Has exposure in performing security and performance testing

• Exposure to containerization and Kubernetes

• Good system level debugging skills are an advantage.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects to meet schedules in a dynamic and fast paced environment

• Willing to travel across geographical boundaries based on the business need.

Required Education and Experience:

• Engineering bachelors or master’s degree

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
