The Alliance to End Plastic Waste is a global non-profit organisation headquartered in Singapore. Our mission is to help end plastic waste in the environment, and we do this by developing, deploying, and scaling solutions that result in a positive environmental impact. We are bringing together global leaders from across the plastics value chain to work together with governments, development agencies and NGOs to address the plastic waste challenge. We are now seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Chief Advisor, South Asia. The successful candidate will require to establish strategic thinking capabilities coupled with a strong motivation to deliver against agreed targets. The ideal candidate will be a well-motivated focused self-starter able to work effectively from home office as part of a dynamic global team.
At the core, this role contributes to our vision of ending plastic waste leakage into the environment, growing our credibility and influence with members.

Projects
a) Project development through implementation with project partner, according to AEPW’s staged gate process, working closely with support functions (financial, legal, communications), the Regional Task Group, Technical Solutions Centre and related Thematic Expert Groups, as required.
b) Bi-weekly stewardship with the project partner for project implementation to ensure delivery in line with contractual objectives, including milestone achievement and related funding disbursement. Monitor project against approved budget, milestones. In case of deviations, develop mitigation actions with project partner where possible, escalating to the Regional Projects Director and Project Steerco as appropriate.
c) Timely project reporting including quarterly impact metrics submission, quarterly project review slides, bi-monthly updates in Salesforce for Members Portal, project updates for member meetings, project steercos, project closures etc
d) Periodic project site visits at least twice a year for project monitoring
