Job Description

To review medical records of claimant and provide precise summaries covering all relevant medical facts required for claim adjudication process. Ability to identify key morbidity and mortality factors for medical impairments esp post casualty or accident events, injuries, fractures, soft tissue deformities, trauma and pain management related disorders. Experience in Indian/US/UK claim adjudication process as well as expert comprehension of medical literature/hospital notes, diagnostic information and treatment modalities along with higher typing skills will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Summarize medical packages in predefined template and format based on set guidelines as well as utilizing clinical acumen, medical expertise.
Ensure to achieve on the set performance goals- production and high accuracy standards on daily tasks- business as usual.
Must work in cohesive way within team and group to achieve shared goals as a one large Unit. Readiness to work across shifts, esp US timing as per business requirement.
Good comprehension and communication skills (non-voice process).
Readiness and Capability for both work from home and work from office situations.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine – MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, Bachelor Physiotherapy, pharmacy with sound knowledge of medical terminologies.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical medicine or insurance claims industry or pharmacovigilance industry or clinical research domain or medical content writing or clinical data management streams. Candidates with experience in worker’s compensation and disability claims processing as well as auto-casualty claims handling/investigations preferred.
Specific skills: strong medical domain/clinical acumen esp on trauma/pain management, higher computer proficiency (Typing speed, accuracy, MS word/excel), Must be efficient with operating computer – Desktops as well as Laptops with modern tools and technologies essential to work in virtual environment/ Work from Home. Typing speed of minimum 25words/min with >/= 90% accuracy.
Personal characteristics – Critical thinking and analytical skills, Commitment to full schedule with minimal absence, team player qualities, computer skills and Microsoft working knowledge must (for freshers).
Certifications – medical graduates, Freshers with PGDEMS (PG diploma in emergency Med. services) and additional certification in Chiro practice.
