Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities:Some of the responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Develop & Implement new features in the product.
• Develop unit test scripts and test cases for existing and new features in the product.
• Interact with Software Development Managers and Program Managers to implement business requirements
• * Interact and assist QA team to understand new features being implemented
• Understand and effectively communicate the impact of changes to a broad group of stake holders.
• Accomplish the tasks in a timely manner following Software development process, with high quality.

Must Have experience:

• Strong Academic track record
• 2-3 years+ of Software Development experience in Windows/LINUX platform.
• Working experience in TCL/TK, C, C++, Python
• Good Exposure to Data structures and Algorithms
• BE/BE-TECH/ME/MTECH in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace/Civil Engineering
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ready to work in dynamic environment and on different technologies
• Should be able to deliver assignments with high quality while adhering to schedule

Desired Skills :

• Software Development of Design and Customization experience of Altair HyperWorks using C/C++/TCL/TK/Python
• Experience in Software Development related to Automotive or Aerospace Domain and Fatigue/Durability area is a big plus.
