Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Dev. Specialist to drive Gift Cards issuance through Corporate Partners in the assigned region and manage those relationships on an ongoing basis. He/she must be an effective communicator and negotiator working with our most important partners and corporate customers. He/she will have strong business judgment with a track record of strong ownership values and relationship management skills. Role requires higher level of ownership, higher bias of action, strong data analytics skills, good negotiator/communicator, stakeholder management and an eternal drive to learn and innovate on behalf of our customers and corporate partners.
You will define and drive business development domain for Amazon Pay Gift cards in the assigned territory. As end to end owner, you will work with external partners/corporates to lead, manage & drive closer of new tech integrations along with their product, tech, finance & business lead stakeholders. This role calls for an individual to showcase strong business development acumen, technology product sales, technical know-how on tech-products, skills set towards new product development, working closely with product to drive new product innovations to drive issuance scale. Build scalable models to drive growth with complete skill set towards data analytical, capability to go multi-layer to understand root-causes, share customer anecdotes / VoCs to drive innovation, work through ambiguity to define organization level programs, drive scale through automation, display decision making to enhance customer and corporate partners’ experience and bring financial efficiencies through monetization. This role requires an individual to constantly innovate and learn thereby providing a steep learning curve, adding a fair amount of business skills to the individual.
Key job responsibilities
As a BD, who is focused on driving sales and customer experience for the gift cards business, you will be responsible for the following:
• Drive gift card sales through B2B/B2C channel by interacting with key corporates/partners and decision makers within these companies
• Own and cultivate the business relationship with the key partners and corporate customers with a long term vision to make the Amazon gift cards their top choice for any gifting requirement or reward program
• Be accountable for driving, measuring, and reporting on key inputs and outputs
• Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers
• Strong in Data Analytics & Deep dive
• Is a strong negotiator and is able to influence without authority & do stakeholder management
• Define business GTM roadmap through partners for existing and new-product launches
The ideal candidate will be numbers driven, team oriented, and an effective communicator. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of driving Enterprise (B2B) sales and relationship management.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of professional or military experience
2+ years of generating new opportunities with strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution through entire sales cycle experience
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and record of success in an outbound account management or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution/technology-related environment
Experience using Salesforce.com at an advanced level including the development of dashboards and reports, programing experience
