Amazon Devices is looking for a dynamic leader to develop new non-Amazon channels in India.
As the Head of Channel Sales you will focus on growing the Amazon Devices business through non-Amazon retail channels, their online sites and other B2B2C channels in India. This is a senior role in the India Devices leadership team and includes people management responsibilities. The Channel Sales team owns the creation of sales and marketing strategies, in-store deployment strategies, and owns the execution of device sales and promotional activities on non-Amazon channels. You will actively engage with internal and external partner teams in order to deliver financially viable and high-volume programs, and actively engage with channel partner leadership to unlock growth and support the ongoing operational management of the Channel Sales business.
Key job responsibilities
Lead and execute the strategy for how and where Amazon Devices are introduced in physical and non-Amazon online retail.
• Own identifying, pitching and negotiating retail listing and distribution agreements that enable the sale and distribution of Amazon Devices through India non-Amazon channels.
• Owns and leads engagements with senior leadership at retailers and distribution partners to support the continued growth and financial sustainability of the Amazon Device portfolio via non-Amazon channels.
• Inspect processes and mechanisms across the team that track sales forecasts, determine allocations, and plan shipments for each SKU.
• Owns a Voice-of-the-customer feedback mechanism to influence product roadmaps, product features and address customer pain points.
• Develop an organizational structure that aligns talent to the strategic objectives of the Channel Sales team, and hire & develop the best talent to fully recruit the team.
• Lead and mentor a team of best-in-class Account Managers, Channel Marketing Managers and Field Sales, and create an environment which enables professional growth and motivates colleagues. • Develop and track VP and Director level goals with partner teams to ensure business cases are met.
• Serve as the single threaded owner for all new category distribution business reviews, with regular Director and VP interaction.
• Localize international best practice and export best practice developed in IN as an active member of the global Devices Channel Sales and Marketing organization.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of sales experience
Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
Experience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India and exposure to prior interactions with sellers and distributors
Experience managing teams
Preferred Qualifications
Adept at managing both strategic and operational aspects of the role.
Proven track record of developing new channel verticals to drive business outcomes.
