Amec Foster Wheeler Hiring for Mobile Applications Developer (.Net) at Chennai, India Full Time

Wood is currently recruiting a Software Developer – .Net (Mobile Applications) with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

• Designs and develops new functionality and enhances existing products/solutions following core principles, practices, architectural and security standards

• Writes well designed, high-quality, well-tested and clean code following SOLID principles

• Actively involves and contributes to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including troubleshooting and fixing problems across multiple environments and operating platforms

• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

• Provides accurate effort estimations, supports the development of user requirements, testing plans and deployments

• Conducts code reviews and advocates for technical excellence while being open to change when needed

• Commercial experience of design and development of cross-platform mobile applications written in C# and XAML

• Solid understanding of .NET Multi-platform App UI (.NET MAUI) and hands on experience in Xamarin

• Working experience with Web APIs and RESTful web services

• Hands on experience in signing and publishing Android and iOS Apps and app stores.

• Proven working experience with Relational Databases and SQL

• Solid understanding of design patterns and Object-Oriented programming

• Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills

• Comfortability with Agile methods, such as Scrum / Kanban

• Hands-on experience of writing unit and integrations tests using a mocking framework

• Proven record of accomplishment of full life-cycle development, including requirement gathering and analysis, design, implementation, deployment, testing and maintenance with strong problem-solving skills

• Working experience with Continuous Integration (CI)

• Computer Science or Software Engineering degree

• Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills

• Positive attitude with excellent verbal & written communication and collaboration skills

• Team player, capable of working effectively in a geographically dispersed team

• Disciplined, organised, self-motivated and focused on the delivery of results

• Active learner with a strong passion for software development and technical excellence
