American Bureau of Shipping Hiring for Reports Developer ( Cognos ) at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

As a Cognos Developer you will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence solution.

What You Will Do:

• Proficiency with Cognos Analytics, Product Suite (Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager)
• The Cognos Developer is responsible for the design, development and deployment of reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence solution.
• Creating, enhancing, and maintaining Framework Manager models to support business requirements.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience

• 4-8 years of experience working in a business analytics environment
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge in SQL
• Performance tuning to ensure reports function within acceptable parameters.
• Develop and implement test plans to ensure successful delivery of a project.
• Strong comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills

Reporting Relationships:

Will report to a senior level Manager or technical manager and has no direct reports.

Working Conditions:

The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while concentrating on a computer screen.
