American Express Global Business Travel Hiring for Business Intelligence Analyst at India Full Time

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Develop advanced analytics methodologies to provide senior management on key performance metrics and predictive insights that will enable strategic business decisions

• Communicate with stakeholders across global markets to understand revenue optimization and business performance related questions. Support strategic and operational initiatives to produce effective reporting and actionable insights

• Translate business questions to data and analysis requirements; carry out data mining, analysis, visualization and presentation.

• Collaborate with database developers globally to streamline data sources to ensure consistency in the data used to support regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis

• Coordinate between database development and business teams such as Revenue Management and Supplier Optimization teams to align and enhance the understanding data and analytics capabilities

• Drive big data and predictive analytics development

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in business insight and data analyst, or business insights developer roles

• Have advanced knowledge of SQL and working knowledge of R or Python

• Proficient with PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApp at developer level, and sound knowledge around Azure or AWS products

• Experience with MicroStrategy is a plus

• Advanced MS skills (Excel/Access/VBA/PowerPoint) is essential

• Working experience with database management tool and processes such as SSMS, SQL, ETL and query optimization

• High proficiency with data mining and structuring statistical modeling using appropriate research techniques

• Ability to turn large volumes of data into actionable insights and explain technical information to a non-tech audience

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders of differing levels across the business

• Ability to understand business processes and commercial implications to make strategic recommendations

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills including communications, time management and prioritization skills

• Should have Citizenship/Right to work
