What You’ll Do on a Typical Day :

• Maintain positive employee relationship and ensure compliance with employment laws
• Collaborate with stakeholders in responding to requests for Department of Labor audits, other legal and regulatory processes
• Advise the Company / Management on applicability of labour laws and compliances for India
• Responsible for managing cased related to litigations, work ethics, counseling, discrimination & harassment, POSH etc.
• Partner with internal & external Legal counsel for legal matters and liaison with Authorities of Government Departments in India
• Act as a policy counsel and subject matter expert for all HR policies, works across business units to provide ER consultation and solutions. Provide continuous support and coaching to leaders in areas of leadership, performance, behavior, policy and procedure interpretation for India
• Focus on delivering consistent and positive employee experience
• Responsible for dashboards, data analysis & monthly reporting, vendor invoice handling, drafting of legal documentation etc.
• Builds relationships and leverages them to drive outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

• Full time MBA from a B-School with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in employee relations
• Good knowledge of ER & HR policies, practices, and philosophy. In depth knowledge of employment law and industrial relations practices & their applicability in a services environment
• Possess a strong ER & HR compliance management background. Through knowledge on local statutes/regulatory environment
• Excellent Stake holder management & communication skills; able to tailor messages to the audience
• Able to deal with ambiguity in shifting and fast paced environment
• High energy level, comfortable in multitasking
• Should be familiar with documentation of employee issues
• Excellent follow through and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
