This is a Programmer Analyst role within Finance Data Sciences & Analytics — With a focus on data science and analytics, the FDS&A team creates enterprise, scalable solutions and customer experiences to help markets across strategic priorities. Charter is to drive data driven strategy for the business and accelerate innovation for both immediate impact as well as long-term transformation of our business. A unique aspect of FDS&A is the integration of diverse skills across all its remit.

Acquisitions & Portfolio Insights (API) team within the FDS&A organization is responsible for creating and maintaining insights and reporting solutions which enable our partners across finance and strategic markets to drive effective business strategies, make fact-based decisions and track business outcomes of acquisition campaigns.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE:

• Deliver analytical studies and actionable insights while engaging with partners on their information requirements.

• Plan project deliverables, prioritize day-to-day tasks, create project documentation, design, and monitor business performance indicators.

• Design and deliver high quality business insight suites, scalable solutions, and accurate scorecards in a timely manner.

• Work with cross-functional teams to find opportunities, understand business processes and propose new solutions.

• Adapt to emerging technology to develop clean well executed concepts and coordinate with cross functional teams on new solutions.

• Analyze the existing environment and derive opportunities, recommend alternative solutions to problems.

• Attend ad-hoc requests on solution support without impacting quality or timeliness.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/ Engineering with relevant experience.

• Preferred: Post Graduation in Statistics/Mathematics/ Economics/Engineering/Management.

• 1-3 years of overall industry experience.

• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Hands on in modelling and ML, statistics and hypothesis testing techniques.

• Hands on with data mining, cleansing, extraction/transformation to enable analysis, interpretation, and insights.

• Hands-on technical experience on Python, MLS, PySpark, SQL, HQL.

• Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI will be a definite advantage.

• Hands on experience on AXP processes and platforms will be an advantage.
