Functional Description:
As a leader of the Global Merchant Marketing Data Sciences team, the incumbent would be responsible for data sciences work for global markets. The incumbent will lead a team of 4 individuals. Core responsibilities include: –
Owners of Enterprise Merchant Matching Algorithm and responsible for its enhancements
Leverage External data to improve merchant core data attributes leveraging text based algorithms like text matching, clustering and NLP
Develop and enhance statistical models by utilizing the best-in-class modelling techniques esp. on supervised learning based business problems
Lead new initiatives, prepare project plans and other supporting information, and provide project status
Manage partner expectations including scope, schedule, changes, and problem resolution
Build a high performing, highly engaged and motivated team
Qualifications

Past experience
Proven results driver with 4 years of experience
Experience in decision science is must
Academic Background
Functional skills/capabilities
Strong analytical skills including the ability to think through all aspects of complex business requirements and generate possible courses of action
Technical skills/capabilities
Proficiency & experience in econometric, statistical and machine learning techniques to develop best in class data science solutions
Experience with working on text based algorithm will be given preference
Proficient in python,hive, working knowledge of hadoop architecture & analytical tools
