Job Role: Lead Systems Engineer

Experience: – 5+ Yrs. of Experience

Location: – Bengaluru, Karnataka.

About the role:

In collaboration with the hardware, software and mechanical teams, you are responsible for the following areas:

• The development and control of requirements on projects, including to traceability to lower level requirements and test artifacts

• Work with customers to negotiate requirements

• Develop and maintain artifacts to demonstrate compliance to customer and safety requirements, including collecting artifacts from other teams

• Work with customers to gain acceptance on any deviations to requirements

• Support audits from customers

• Develop, maintain and improve the requirements and control process

• Develop metrics and tools to track progress on projects

• Develop training materials and best practices for requirements and control process

• Create technical documents such as manuals, reports, specifications

• Convey technical concepts in simple, clear instructions with detailed images such as charts or diagrams

• Be intimately familiar with product features and functionalities

   

               Desired Candidate Profile:

• Master of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering degree with 10+ years of work experience

• Experience with requirements management concepts and tools

• Experience in the design, development and testing of electronics and software systems 

• Experience with automotive industry and ISO-26262 Functional Safety preferred

• A passion for continuous improvement through streamlined and optimizing engineering processes

• Comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies and processes

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with technical contributors, projects leaders, executive management and customers
