Job Description Summary

The Senior PLM Architect will be part of Renewable Digital Technology organization, which is implementing global solutions for Renewable businesses to manage product engineering designs and requisitions. You will act as functional and digital technology expert, responsible for leading functional and technical design along with the delivery of the IT solutions.

As the senior manager, you will work with a global team and multiple functions, be the digital technology expert for product design lifecycle management, be project leader and staff manager to ensure solution delivery at quality, at cost and at scheduled.

You will ensure the technical integration of the engineering processes to core applications (ERP, PLM, CRM, CPQ).

Job Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities –

• Work with business managers and mater experts to capture business requirements, priorities, and key excellence drivers,

• Analyze business requirements to design the best in class IT solution for engineering community and its integration within the global application landscape,

• Provide expertise to the business on how to structure, integrate, digitize, and manage product design lifecycle process and master data,

• Architect PLM systems, integrations, interfaces and configurations of Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering systems,

• Provide multiple solution options and recommendations based on extensive experience and best practices,

• Develop data architecture, manage data migration strategy,

• Support business readiness and change management activities prior to go-live,

• Ensure Tender, Engineering Requisition and Contract execution end-to-end process and data integration,

• Write detailed functional & technical specifications for the IT delivery and operation team,

• Define business use cases for qualification and acceptance tests,

• Perform integration and performance tests prior to business testing,

• Support process experts and key users during business integration tests and user acceptance tests,

• Provide training material and documentation,

• Manage the roll-out, ensure the adoption and penetration of the solution,

• Support IT core model evolutions, functional/technical sustainability, and scalability,

• Ensure a high NPS and user satisfaction rate for the solution.

Qualification / Requirements –

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college;

• 20 years of experience in PLM, CAD, Calculation and Simulations technologies.

• 10 years of experience in DT senior position, 15 years is a plus, covering scheduling, risk analysis, project & portfolio management.

• Good knowledge of complex product designs, project engineering systems, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).

• Expertise and certification in Product Lifecycle Management (PTC Windchill PLM 11 & 12).

• Strong experience in PLM Windchill integration with ERP (SAP & Oracle), project scheduling (Oracle P6), product configurators (CPQ), CAD and BIM design tools (PTC Creo, Autodesk Suite, DS Solidworks, Siemens NX, Altium, Aucotec EngineeringBase), Requirement Management (IBM Doors) are fundamental.

• Prove experience in PTC Windchill ThingWorx, Vuforia, Windchill Quality (previously Relex FMEA) and Windchill WPA along with core applications integration.

• Configure Windchill PLM (11 & 12) modules to meet specifications.

• Develop customized applications (java, scripts), APIs (webservices) and technical integration.

• Established project management skills (Agile & CMMI certified).

• Team leader of international team, manager of internal & external resources.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication / energizing skills.

• High energy team player with multi-cultural skills, able to influence effectively in a decentralized, cross functional and global environment.

• Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
