Antarang Foundation Hiring for Teacher at Goa Full Time

The Role:

CareerAware is Antarang’s flagship career guidance program. Through a tightly delivered, year-long and intensive program, CareerAware guides students from Grade 9th to 12th in municipal schools to make relevant yet aspirational career plans.

CareerAware facilitators are thus trained by Antarang to be Career Guidance Facilitators through an intensive 15-day training program. The training enables the facilitators to become adept at using the CareerAware tool, which is a comprehensive psychometric based tool and integral pedagogical practices.

Major responsibilities:

• Instill a safe, healthy learning culture where students actively collaborate and take ownership of the program
• Ensure all outcomes for the program are met in all assigned schools

• Conduct Career Guidance sessions following the proprietary curriculum designed by Antarang
• Build professional relationships with school principals, teachers and program coordinators

• Work with parents to ensure guidance and support for students

• Individually counsel students on their careers

• Maintain regular records of student attendance and progress

• Resolve individual student query/doubt

• Give periodic critical feedback about the program, content and operations to relevant teams

Profile Requisites:

• A Graduate/Pursuing Graduation (third-year only) in any field with a keen interest in the Education Sector

• Passionate about working with youth & for the youth especially from a lower-economic background

• Willing to travel within the city for in person sessions

• Able to commit 4 hours Monday-Saturday for at least a year

• Proficient in English & Hindi/Marathi/Urdu( Fluency with either Urdu/Marathi is especially preferred)
• Tech Savvy & comfortable with online learning tools
• Integrity and ability to work & problem-solve independently

Consultancy Fees: The monthly pay may vary however the annual payment would be in the range of 1 -1.5 LPA

Salary: ₹100,000.00 – ₹150,000.00 per year
