About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following:

Must have 6years plus relevant experience

Strong knowledge and experience in Application Performance concepts & Monitoring tool sets in particularexperience in deployment and management of SPLUNK.

Splunk Enterprise Admin certification is Mandatory. Preferred would be Splunk Cloud admin certification.

Experienced in Splunk SPL queries, Reports and Dashboards. Proven ability to design and customize complexsearch queries, develop advanced visualisations, and optimize their performance in clustered SPLUNKenvironment.

Technical infrastructure / application development & support background would be preferred with familiarity inscripting languages (JavaScript, Shell & Python)

Well versed in handling diverse data sources and integrations that enables import data, Parse/clean and Indexdata as per Business requirements.

Experience in Cloud, Devops, micro service environments and CI/CD technologies

Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills preferred to help deliver the customer needs at the forefront.

Enterprise Service Management delivers best in class service quality, enriched capability, agile and stable change, through service data analytics and service automation.

As a Monitoring Engineer, you will provide monitoring and observability capability utilizing enterprise-wide tools to enable end to end service view of Business and technology services. You will contribute to expand monitoring maturity across infrastructure & applications which will enable effective delivery and supportability of high-quality Technology Services.

Therefore, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned engineer who:

Collaborate across Technology Domains to drive improvement in our ability to effectively onboard applications onto monitoring Tools and enable development of best in class, leading monitoring and Observability systems and tooling capability.

Undertake the support and maintenance activities to enable monitoring on different data sources and provide in sights of holistic technology landscape to business as per requirements.

Contribute to drive innovation and efficiencies within the Platform Services CoE and Technology more broadly.

Participate in the initiative activities like making the environment cloud ready, Search Optimization and enhance or optimize CI/CD Pipelines.

Provide consulting services to projects to assess, define, and implement fit for purpose and cost effective monitoring solution and toolsets.

Experience in coding (python, shell etc)

Experience in Cloud technology

Experience in CI/CD pipeline (Terraform, Codefresh, Puppet, Bamboo, Ansible etc)
