The Australia Data tribe sits within our Australia Retail & Commercial division and our mission is to combine business & technology capabilities to enable analytics, reporting & data asset development by users across ANZ’s Australia Retail & Commercial division.
As a Product Owner with the Australia Data tribe, you will enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary and evolving team (‘Squad’) to pursue its mission. The Product Owner constantly prioritises engagements and tasks and the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making.
The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies, team mix and team member utilisation.
Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.

What will you bring?
10+ year’s experience and domain expertise in the data environment or financial services
Key Customer centric focus – To diligently and consistently work on prioritisation and backlog management fully from Customer centric angle.
Delivery experience and outcomes focus with expertise in planning for multiple initiatives and prioritising for value
Ability to connect and influence across multiple business functions
Ability to quickly create trusted relationships with business teams
Ability to work with other squads and domains within the organisation to achieve common customer value outcomes
Leadership skills to resolve conflict and align outcomes
Exceptional critical thinking skills
