Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities
With direct Supervision, support analysts and managers that interface with a customer sub-group or group (could be BU, functional area, site, or region)
Provides support services to GIS customers for IT infrastructure function. Adheres to service management processes and procedures to meet customer service level agreements and maintain customer satisfaction.
Carries out recommended updates to the IT infrastructure which includes patching, upgrades and regular scheduled maintenance.
Executes basic changes while following standard operating procedures and change management policies.
Works on incidents and outages to improve stability and reliability of service.
Skills:
Must have skills
Good Experience in Linux system Administration
OS / Firmware Installation, configuration & Patching
Troubleshooting Performance issues
Basic Understanding of storage , network, backup
Working with Vendors (Hw/Software) & internal teams
Coding experience will be considered as plus
Linux administration certification will be added advantage
Ready to work on flexible timings as per work needs
Responsibility includes for Operations Support, Projects & CIPs

Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline

Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
