ARMMAN is an India-based non-profit organization committed to improving the wellbeing of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children in the first five years of their life. We design and implement sustainable interventions to reduce maternal, neonatal and child mortality and morbidity in underprivileged urban and rural communities in India.
Our approach is to identify and address systemic gaps in both health services delivery and community health care seeking practices by adopting a multi sectoral evidence based ‘community needs assessment’ approach. The core programmes of ARMMAN make innovative use of technology to develop viable interventions and to maximize outreach.
We have a range of mHealth projects across the nation. With partnership of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), we have been implementing two mHealth programs – Kilkari and Mobile Academy in the 18 states of India.
Kilkari is a mobile health education service that provides pregnant women, new mothers, and their families with timely, accessible, accurate and relevant information about Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Child health. It aims to improve families’ knowledge and uptake of life-saving preventative health practices.
Mobile Academy is a Reproductive Maternal Neonatal and Child health training course designed to refresh ASHA (frontline health workers) workers’ knowledge of life-saving preventative health behaviours and improve the quality of their engagement with new and expecting mothers and their families.
We are looking for the role of State Program Manager for two mhealth programs, Kilkari and Mobile Academy. Both the programs are running across 18 States/UTs of India with expansion in other states is in pipeline. As State Program Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of program across the states. You will be responsible for documentation, coordination and managing the program with all the teams across the organization.
Roles and responsibilities of State Program Manager:
Ø Program management and implementation of activities in accordance with the mission and vision of the organization.
Ø Develop and retain cordial and excellent relations with all the stakeholders involved in the programs till grassroot level, i.e., NHM officials, frontline health workers and beneficiaries.
Ø Organize and coordinate with state nodals on capacity building sessions, field-visits and other activities, as required.
Ø Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding programs’ issues and decisions on services.
Ø Provide strategic inputs to overall program implementation of both mHealth interventions.
Ø Develop monthly and quarterly plans for state/ district/ block/ site visits based on monthly performance data.
Ø Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the programs’ life cycle.
Ø Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.
Ø Analyzing program risks basis data and propose mitigation strategies to the organization.
Ø Collect successful case studies from the fields.
Ø Support other team members in research work, technical implementation of activities/UAT and MIS analysis.
Program Manager Requirements:
· He/She should be MSW or MPH from a reputed university.
· He/She should have at least 5-7 years of program experience implementing health program in-field, coordinating with health officials and conduct meetings and trainings.
· Open for travel within the state of Jharkhand and other program locations. Travel may happen on short notices too.
· Should have excellent communication skills, along with proven stakeholder management skills.
· Competency in MS-Office applications, like Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook

Ø Attention to details for further follow-up in the program.
Ø Ability to produce documents and coordinate activities independently.
Ø Ability to multitask and work in a multidisciplinary team.
Ø Able to manage/prioritize work from several sources.
Ø Ability to handle a variety of assignments under pressure of deadlines.
Ø Excellent organizational skills required.
Ø Excellent hindi and English communication skills.
Ø Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS – Office.
Ø Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks and travel up to 30% of time.

Salary: ₹850,000.00 – ₹950,000.00 per year
