• Provide commercially relevant, practical and proactive legal services to the company

Job Responsibilities

Conducting Criminal/Civil raids on counterfeit & lookalike : Co-ordinate for civil and criminal raid on lookalike and counterfeit products and co-ordinate with

• Various IPR lawyers
• with Investigation agencies
• Assist lawyers in filing Civil suit in various High Courts
• Assist in conducting raid action and Investigation (i.e Suo Moto and after getting information from sales and customer centricity team across India)
• Co-ordination with Marketing and Sales/Plant team for various information/documents.

Legal Support:

• Provide timely support to investigation agencies and lawyers to conduct timely action on counterfeit/lookalike.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external lawyers for filing of cases
• Regularly updating the status of cases in the tracker
• Maintaining record of case papers
• Research on any legal point
• Maintaining record of communications/ notices received by the Company.
• Prepare PPT/ short note on various action/issues

Legal SPOC

• Act as a Legal SPOC with all external consultants
• Help in invoice/GST related queries

Key Interactions

Internal : Sales, Commercial, Supply chain, Marketing, Customer Centricity

External : Lawyers, Investigation agencies, Police authorities, Government Agencies

Qualifications

Essential

• Degree in law from a recognised university

Previous Experience

Tier 1 – 2 college 1-2 years

Tier 3- 4 college 2-3 years

Functional Competencies

• Robust knowledge of Trademark/Copyright law, IPC, Criminal Procedure Code
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice and documentation in a commercially sound and relevant manner
