What will i be doing at at Ather:
A breakthrough product, an overwhelming initial response, a highly engaged community and an environment that is all set for electric vehicles to leap ahead. The Ather 450X is at the forefront of a historic transformation of two-wheeler commute in India.
As a Growth and Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal contribution to the topline growth (read retail sales numbers) of Ather by building and ensuring the success of a solid portfolio of sales enabler products consisting of Consumer financing and the Insurance products. You will represent the consumer and stakeholder needs and onboard the right partner for these products. Next, you will work with the internal swimlanes to understand the growth opportunities and ensure the success of these products through various channels namely: the Dealer Channel, Institutional and bulk sales and other new channels.
You will be responsible for:
Building a portfolio of Financing, Payment solutions and Insurance products ensuring contribution to sales numbers and customer satisfaction goals.
Developing a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and successfully synthesizing those into focused growth and partnership strategies.
Maintaining a solid backlog of features with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the swimlanes work towards the correct things to achieve the goals.
End to end ownership of taking the portfolio products live from scouting partners to deployment across channels by owning the GTM plans.
Constantly analyze the partnership health and performance against ROIs, KPIs, and other metrics and provide guidance to internal swimlanes on the opportunities.
Ensuring portfolio performance by setting up performance metrics, growth strategies and process improvement.

Data based decision making – Work with large and unstructured data across systems such as Dealer Management Systems, BI query tools, Tableau and MS excel. Derive and share meaningful insights and drive strategies and decisions basis the data.
Embracing change – Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and unstructured environment dealing with the evolving goals and ambiguity of a young organisation in a positive manner
Understanding people and operations – Shadow on-ground teams, understand end-point operations to manage aspirations of various stakeholders and business needs.
Interacting with people – An obvious requirement for a Salesperson! Go-getters who can network and interact with a host of people, within and outside Ather, and use this data to shape decisions.
Strategic thinking – Ability to identify projects based on priority and returns. Formulate strategic roadmaps and drive decisions, all while keeping the philosophy of continuous improvement in mind
Bias for action – Excels at making things happen by showing initiative and investing energy consistently
Understanding of Agile way of work – Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and working with Swimlanes and sprints.
What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?:
5+ years of professional experience in a retail/ channel sales environment handling partnerships.
Exposure to E-commerce, Fintech or Automobile industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in commercial and process-based negotiations.
Articulate, organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and has the ability to manage multiple priorities and prior experience of managing partnership teams.
Knowledge working with data and reports from DMS, SAP, BI, etc.
Project management and project planning skills
