Ather Energy Hiring for Lead – SQA at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

You’ll be based at: IBC, Bangalore & Hosur Plant

You’ll be a member of: Process Excellence & Supplier Quality

What You’ll do at ather:
Monitor and validate proto, pilot and early production builds to ensure that the Designs, Tools, Jigs and Fixtures meet the industry standard manufacturing practices.

Record bugs and deviations and implement appropriate containment, RCA, corrective and preventive actions to assure the targeted manufacturing quality & yields.

Drive build documentation reviews – BOM Analysis, Assembly CTQs, Process Definition (PFC), Control Plan, PFMEA, FAI Report/Build Report of the effective New Product Implementation.

Use knowledge and/or expertise of 2 Wheeler assembly, testing and inspection to help execute Vehicle DFM & Manufacturing.

Ability to predict/or forecast manufacturing cycle times and yield to meet the TAKT and OEE requirements

Be a swimlane member and control the Manufacturing Quality stage-gates across APDS ensuring quality is built early into the Design stage.

Drive Supplier Development activities using DMAIC and Kaizen.

Action and and drive improvements in supplier processes from the NCs identified during the PPAP and Supplier process audits.

Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Management and Design Engineering teams to ensure highest levels of Manufacturing Quality.

Line stabilisation, APQP and PPAP.

Advanced know-how of DFA, DFM, DFT & FMEA (Design, Process, Equipment)

Design of Experiments (DoE)

Test Plan and Testing Point Coverage

Lead efforts to carry out detailed Process Calculations, Yield Predictions and Tolerance Analyses to demonstrate compliance to sub-system/system specifications and requirements along with Takt.

Lead and drive periodic PFMEA reviews. Demonstrate focus on proactive screening of defects and timely implementation of control mechanisms to reduce RPN.

Lead RCA on field failures due to process and Approve RCA Reports & CAPA

Here’s What we Are Looking for:
Knowledge on complete Design of Process and Manufacturing Quality preferably for automotive projects.

Expertise in 8D, 7QC tools, DMAIC, PPAP, and APQP

Advanced know-how of DFA, DFM, DFT & FMEA (Design, Process, Equipment)

Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver quality output to meet the deadlines and handle details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

You Bring to Ather:
B.E or equivalent with Specialization in Automobile / Mechanical/ECE/Electrical

6~10 years of relevant experience in NPD – Vehicle engineering activities for Automobiles

Advanced know-how of DFA, DFM, DFT & FMEA (Design, Process, Equipment)

Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver quality output to meet the deadlines and handle details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
