Ather Energy Hiring for Module Lead – Mechanical at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

What you’ll do at Ather:

• Accountable for supplier and supplier manager related deliverables in the module level swimlane (CFT)

• Accountable to handle all the issues and tasks related to sourcing in the Swimlane and provides leadership to the Swimlane in taking calls regarding purchased parts, products and services for any given program

• Collaborate & Monitor the selection processes for new suppliers, from identification of potential suppliers to qualification, audits, assessments & contracting and up to the validation of processes.

• Accountable for meeting cost, quality, and timeline targets for Program/Swimlane

• Collaborate across the organization with stakeholders to align strategy and direction in alignment with Supplier management inputs and strategy

• Collaborate & monitor with Supplier Managers for Part Cost/NRE cost/Lead Time structures for respective commodities to meet cost, quality, and timeline targets for the Program / Swimlane

• Monitor the contracts with suppliers to secure commitment on cost, quality and delivery and mitigate potential risks associated with SLAs

• Align to the organizational long term forecast and business plan to secure capacities at each supplier partners manufacturing lines by collaborating with supplier managers .

• Collaborate with swimlane stakeholders & SM’s to ensure seamless implementation of engineering changes & obsolete management at supplier end and ensure price revisions for the same if any.

• Collaborate with supplier managers to identify manufacturing and supply chain risks for the respective modules ; Work within swimlane and with SM’s to highlight & mitigate the risks.

Here’s what we are looking for:

• Prior experience in supplier development activities

• Product development life cycle experience and strong problem solving skills are must

• Good understanding of AIAG manuals such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA & quality certifications such as IATF16949 & ISO9001

• Ability to lead and guide the team – enjoys collaborating, persuading, and influencing

• Ability to thrive under pressure – to manage challenging deadlines

• Strong project management skills

• Strong planning, process management, and decision-making skills

• Be strategic and think creatively

• Have excellent analytical & negotiation skills

You bring to Ather:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from premier engineering institutes; PMP/PGMP desired

• 5-9 years of relevant functional experience

• Experience in industries such as Automobile, Aerospace or other related manufacturing industries
