Ather Energy Hiring for Shift Incharge- Battery & Vehicle Assembly at Hosūr Full Time

You’ll be our : Shift In-charge

You’ll be based at : Ather Manufacturing Plant, Hosur

You’ll be aligned with : Head – Manufacturing

You’ll be a member of : Manufacturing

What you’ll do at Ather:

• Manage associates and staff to achieve production, productivity, and quality targets and goals

• Ensure smooth running and good health of the production processes, and upkeep of plant and equipment

• Ensure that the quality of the product produced within the shift is in line with the company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures

• Monitor, measure, and report on production related process performance, general issues

• Plan, analyze, and resolve bottlenecks in the production processes

• Promote a culture of CI and maintain high motivation levels in the workforce

• Ensure that health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all related matters are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the company’s Health and Safety policy

• Work closely with other shift supervisors to ensure that production handovers are effective communications tools

• Work closely with New Product Development, quality assurance, and maintenance personnel to prevent problems with products and tooling/fixtures

• Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are always implemented and maintained

Here’s what we are looking for:

• An understanding of the principles of lean manufacturing

• Strong management skills

• An understanding of industry safety standards, labor laws

• Hands-on experience in dealing with organized (unionized) workforce

• Good interpersonal skills

• Proven track record of achievement of targets with optimum resources
