Greenlight Planet Hiring for Finance Associate Account Receivables at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India Full Time

Job Description

Greenlight Planet is looking for a Finance Associate to be an integral member of our Accounts Receivable Team. This role will help generate revenue for the company by ensuring that our customers are properly billed for goods and services. You will work cross functionally to ensure that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verify and record transactions, resolve account discrepancies, and perform other tasks to secure customer/ distributor payments.
Key responsibilities for the role:

• Reconcile customer & partner accounts regularly to aid business functions.
• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies for our partnerships, e-commerce, and retail channels
• Processing and recording transactions.
• Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
• Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
• Working with the other departmenst to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
• Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, reconciliations, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients/ distributors to discuss their accounts.
• Generating reports and statements for internal use.
• Any other business as assigned by your supervisor.

The ideal candidate has:

• Top marks at a top 5 Regional or Globally recognized University with a degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant disciplines.
• An advanced degree or certification is welcome
• 3 + experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distil information and understand the way to communicate to different audiences in order to get results.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
• Critical Thinker: Very strong ability to structure problems and drive towards solutions even in ambiguous situations
