ServiceNow System Administrator Certification

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification (good to have)

Primary Responsibilities include: . Design, develop and maintain custom code for all ServiceNow modules

• Analyzes user requirements and current procedures in order to design and enhance process workflows within the ServiceNow environment
• Create technical architecture, design and user guide documentation

Design, development and enhancement to the ServiceNow modules in support of SLA and reporting requirements
Works with internal process managers and ServiceNow administrators to implement and support all ServiceNow modules

• Customizing and configuring core modules like IM, PM, CM, SRM, SLM and KM based on requirements.
• Hands-on Experience in Update sets, Scheduled imports, Transform Maps and Transform Scripts.
• Hands-on Experience in dealing with Client-side (client script, UI policy) / Server-side scripting (business rule, script include, UI Actions, etc)
• ServiceNow Integration experience
• Configure Workflow, Application UI and Customize ServiceNow applications, perform enhancements requests to the client’s Service Now instances, including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation content, and modifications to existing workflow.
• Facilitate roll out of new applications and modules in ServiceNow

Handle general updates and configuration changes/requests

• Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
• Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to client IT operations
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
• Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
• Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, testing and production environments
• Owns oversight for all internal development activities to ensure best practices are being followed

Researches new capabilities of the ServiceNow platform to recommend and implement solutions to meet business requirements
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for stakeholders as appropriate .
At least four (4) years of relevant ServiceNow development experience in an enterprise environment

• Demonstrated knowledge of core ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Service Request, Change and CMDB) . Demonstrated knowledge of system family upgrade and a patch upgrade
