Position: Assistant Program Manager

Organisation: Leading Philanthropic foundation

Location: Delhi, Mumbai & Betul (MP)

Qualification: Post graduate in public health or social sciences.

Experience: At least 5-8 years of experience in program management, demonstrating expertise in project implementation and operational management

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support in the development and implementation of program strategies focused on health equity, with a strong emphasis on serving vulnerable populations
• Oversee the project’s management, and ensure it meets the program targets in the specified geographies
• Oversee and facilitate the testing of tech and touch based interventions in the vulnerable populations
• Work in close coordination with the NGO partner and the field team
• Oversee the operational functioning of the program in the field, for smooth and effective delivery of health equity solutions to vulnerable populations.
• Be responsible for effective resource and asset management, including budgeting and procurement, to address the specific requirements of vulnerable populations.
• Ensure the project is implemented within the rules, regulations, and policy framework of, with special consideration for the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations.
• Provide guidance to the field team in delivering health equity solutions to vulnerable populations.
• Ensure the roles of the field team align with project requirements, and foster a culture of excellence in serving the health equity needs of vulnerable communities.

Job Requirements

• At least 5-8 years of experience in program management, demonstrating expertise in project implementation and operational management, with a preference for experience in the context of vulnerable populations.
• Must be a post graduate in public health or social sciences.
• Strong program acumen and a deep understanding of public health, including the public health system in India and working with government functionaries/ institutions, non-governmental organizations to improve the health of vulnerable or marginalized populations.
• Strong understanding of digital and mobile health platforms/solutions and their implementation
• Effective organization and management skills.
