The Consumer Technology eXperience (CTX) Compliance Team is responsible for driving privacy, advertising technology, accessibility, and SOX compliance across the organization.

About the Job – Specialist Software Engineer

As a Senior-Software Engineer you will design, write, and deliver software to support Azure-based, containerized Node.js and PHP/Laravel services using data from a PostgreSQL Flex Server. You will create and manage task scheduling through Laravel and Node and integrate with other systems both in Azure and through our Bastion service.

You will provide technical expertise to improve the end-to-end availability and performance of the product’s key services, and build automation to prevent problem recurrence

You will be an influencer by example, mentor the team, and establish credibility through quality technical execution. Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Azure-based applications.

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables through Azure Boards.

• Collaborate with designers, developers, user experience team and product owners to determine requirements and maintain strong technical collaboration.

• Identify and keep abreast of new methodologies and technologies that improve the quality, reliability, and performance. Provide functional and technical leadership and mentor software engineers.

• Write great quality code with a relentless passion for automated testing and validation.

• Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change and configuration management and compliance.

Working in different shifts overlapping US business hours , any 9 hrs from 2PM to 11PM or 9 PM to 6 AM in rotation as possible.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 10+ years of experience with data structures and algorithms

• 5 years of experience working in an agile scrum environment.

• 5 years, or strong demonstrated expertise in PHP development.

• 5 years, or strong demonstrated expertise in Node.js.

• 5 years experience designing and implementing database designs using expert level SQL coding and industry standard normalization practices.

• 5+ years experience in cloud-based CI/CD deployment configuration and management with a strong preference for experience in Azure DevOps.

• 2-3 years experience in front end development including responsive frameworks, CSS, JavaScript and React.js

• 3 years experience working in Azure containerized environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

• PHP/Laravel development in an Azure containerized environment.

•

Experience in online marketing technology, advertising tracking and web tracking methods like cookies, pixels, tracking scripts, etc.

• Node.js development in an Azure containerized environment.

• 5 years of experience in React.js development.

• Ability to develop accessible user interfaces, and test web pages for accessibility performance.

• Ability to comfortably lead technical demo sessions to peers and leadership

• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and technologies

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
