What is the role?

Based in India, we are actively recruiting for a SaaS solution Consultant to join our PreSales Function. The objective is to Engage with our Customers and Sales teams to promote the Value we bring with our SaaS offer.

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Cloud and Enterprise Architects based in Australia.

The role’s specific responsibilities include:

• Apply your industry and solution expertise to bring value to our customers

• Understand the AVEVA SaaS portfolio and how to position it.

• Think outside the box and how different products can interface to create a solution

• Run workshops with our large customers to enable them to understand our SaaS value proposition

• Be Competent with Salesforce.com and sales lifecycles.

• Run regular reports in Sales Force to understand what opportunities are actively being pursued

• Understand each and every SaaS sales opportunity in the Australian Market.

• Contribute to Strategy meetings to drive the SaaS business in the best direction

• Engage with Customers/Alliance Partners/ Distributors/System Integrators to assist with SaaS portfolio understanding, solution positioning and general enablement.

• Work with your peers around the APAC region as well as globally

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering/IT with experience leading technical teams.

• Ability to build long term, customer focused relationships is essential with solid, direct, and related sales experience being highly advantageous

• Sound industry credentials in several industries

• Ability to communicate well with all the different functions in the business

• Have the ability to understand Technical engineering / application design and complex software solutions

• Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations as required (approx 25% travel)

• Competent communicator at all levels particularly C-level

• Keen to learn and understand our competitors solutions

• Clearly understand IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, architectures
