Here is an exciting opportunity for you to work on a government initiative on air Pollution / Climate change. We are searching for a reliable and trustworthy volunteer to join the cause. The volunteer’s responsibilities include completing tasks assigned by the supervisor, upholding the campaign values, and maintaining a high degree of professionalism with all stakeholders. You should arrive on time, follow instructions, and improve the overall operations of the organization.

Through volunteering, we aim to build a society that empowers every individual to reshape the conversation with their voices and stories.

To be successful as a volunteer, you should demonstrate active listening and problem-solving skills. Outstanding volunteers should be diligent, meticulous, and take pride in their work.

Selected person day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Educating the community of people about the mission of the program, educating them about the program and encouraging them to be a part of the cause and how it will then impact this government initiative

2. Greet attendees and answer questions

3. Manage the flow of the crowd

4. Great volunteers will help set a positive tone and create an energetic environment for the event. They are that memorable, smiling face of the event as guests and attendees arrive.

5. The desire and motivation to educate the public about protecting the natural environment.

6. The ability to work independently and in a team setting.

7. The ability to become knowledgeable and educate others

8.Completing all duties assigned by the supervisor and reporting any issues immediately.

9. Arriving on time for duty and remaining professional in your interactions with all stakeholders.

10.A willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

11. A high degree of professionalism and the ability to follow instructions.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as Volunteer Coordinator or similar role

2. Experience in volunteering

3. Team player

4. Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner

5. Must be dependable and punctual

6. Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public

7. Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented

Contract length: 2 months

Part-time hours: 8 per week
