Role Description

This is a full-time Deputy Manager / Manager – FEMA Compliance role that is located on-site in Mumbai. The role will involve day-to-day compliance monitoring of regulations related to FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) and related notifications issued by the Reserve Bank of India.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should have a minimum qualification of a Chartered Accountant
• Relevant professional certification/diploma in the field of FEMA compliance
• A minimum of 2 to 7 years of experience in FEMA compliance in a banking/financial institution or a consulting firm that specializes in FEMA compliance
• Excellent understanding of FEMA regulations and regulatory notifications issued by the Reserve Bank of India
• Good understanding of the Indian banking system and domestic and global financial markets
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
