Qualification: BE/ BTech/ ME/ Mtech/ MSc in Electronics (& Telecommunication)/ Instrumentation (& Control)/ Electrical from reputed institute.

Remarks:
5 – 7 yrs for Engineer.

Target companies:
Bosch, Vehicle OEMs.

Required Exposure:

• Good understanding of UDS protocol – ISO14229.
• Overall understanding of Diagnostics including DTC assignment as per ISO15765.
• Development of specification for bootloader to support flashing needs.
• Hands – on experience with authoring of diagnostic specifications using Vector Candela
• Validation of diagnostic specifications with Vector CANOE/ Busmaster.
• Knowledge of ODX format for diagnostic specification.

Preferred add-ons:

• Experience with C programming targeted at micro-controllers.
• Background of working in interdisciplinary teams.
• Scripting for Busmaster/ V-Spy/ CAPL.
• Prior exposure to Vector VFlash.
• Experience of working on version control repositories like SVN, github,etc.

The selected candidate shall be responsible for creating and maintaining diagnostic specifications for a variety of control units deployed on the vehicle. He/ she shall also be responsible for verification of diagnostics and flashing support [including FOTA] for both server and client side using a mix of proprietary tools and packages from Vector. Therefore, he/ she needs to have an in-depth understanding of boot-loader design and functionality. In addition, the candidate shall collaborate with other groups for development of CAN network specifications for the vehicle. In doing so, he/ she shall participate in elaboration of functional requirements for control units sourced from suppliers, and shall be involved in interactions with suppliers to explain and clarify requirements as necessary.
