Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) Hoisting, part of the Global Technology & Operations organization, consists of more than 6,600 employees worldwide. With a presence in more than 35 countries, TI designs, builds and operates end-to-end technology infrastructure solutions and manages critical systems and platforms across the bank. TI delivers industry-leading infrastructure products and services to the company’s employees, customers and clients around the world.

Job Description

The individual will be part of Cloud Platform Engineering and Development Process and will be responsible for building and managing Private Cloud for Bank of America which is based on VMware suite of products.

Responsibilities

Provide a single point of contact for proactive support of the underlying virtual infrastructure
Utilize correlated data sources with predictive analytics to ensure maximum operational uptime and adherence to SLOs and SLAs
Provide seamless integration and collaboration with enterprise service providers, with specialist knowledge in operating within virtualized infrastructure
Focus on service stability, securing and event automation for efficiencies

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications, If Any: VMWare Certifications and Cloud Certifications.
Experience Range: 6 – 8 years

Foundational skills:
Experience and Knowledge in creating & configuring VRA and VRO workflows and integration
Provide engineering solution to develop Self service portal and infrastructure automation
Development Experience on vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestration
Knowledge in vRealize Automation and ability to create work flows
Excellent scripting skills
Expertise on vRealize Suite – vRA, vRO, VCF, vROps
Significant vCenter administration knowledge in a large/complex organization
Knowledge of virtualized infrastructure design and administration
Should be able to write automation scripts for managing virtual infrastructure
Strong familiarity with DevOps Tools and practices
Inter-personal skills
Communication skills

Desired skills:
Knowledge with Automation Scripting- Atrium Orchestrator, Python, PowerCLI
Knowledge of x86 server hardware platforms
Build Process & Routines: Strong adherence to operating controls, risk management, process review and creation, documentation and collaborative knowledge sharing

Work Timings: Rotational Shift (06:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.)
