• Member of Operations Control for Markets Operations – Control Implementation team.
• Contribute to and manage streams of the project to build and deliver fit for purpose Reconciliation controls, via an in house developed rapid delivery reconciliation solution managing priorities and ensuring alignment with the strategic program is maintained.
• Partnering with stakeholders for the definition and delivery of comprehensive documentation including business requirements, process flow diagrams, articulating requirements and all data inputs to deliver risk mitigating reconciliations.
• Definition & regular communication of progress against individual task plans that roll-up into project plans
• Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders, particularly across Global Market Operations, and Change the Bank / Run the Bank technology teams and application leads
• Continually assess processes build with a view to implement improvements through an Agile Approach, within Rapid delivery framework.
• Perform regular quality checks to confirm that controls are being delivered to requirements and are on track for delivery against agreed and defined timelines.

What will you be doing?

• Implement best practice in Reconciliation control build – leveraging rapid delivery approach, to deliver multiple reconciliations across all areas of Global Market Operations, across products and exception types.
• Excellent communicator with flexibility to communicate effectively using the right medium across all levels of the function and build successful relationships with key stakeholders, SMEs and other functions.
• Highly resilient and resourceful, with a proven track record in engaging and influencing others to ensure tasks are delivered per committed timelines.
• Pro-active and delivery focused, working to high standards of performance. Willing and able to consistently and independently follow up with stakeholders to collect pending requirements and information

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Investment Banking experience (within Operations preferable)
• Previous experience with reconciliations either as part of an RTB role or a change function
• Proven Stakeholder Management experience
• Intermediate/Advanced Experience with Microsoft Excel, comfort managing large data sets and data modelling functions (Pivot tables Conditional/IF Formulas)
