This is an important role within Procurement to ensure that the key Third Party Service Provider (TPSP) Horizontal risk activities from the Barclays Control Framework are operated across its policies and underlying standards. Additionally, one of the key areas of focus is oversight over Barclays FMI and Introducer third parties which were recently added to the framework to ensure TPSP requirements are being met.
What will you be doing?

• Be a subject matter expert (SME) on the TPSP framework, particularly its scope and practical application. Provide guidance to Procurement and other business areas with respect to the risk horizontal.
• Support the execution of Procurement strategy for managing Third Party Risk, leading on key elements as may be required from time to time.
• Oversee, and where applicable, operate the execution of the control framework required to manage Third Party Service Provider Risk across Barclays.
• Partner with the Chief Controls Office to ensure that all TPSP horizontal risk owner activities are operated and the TPSP risk profile for aligned business areas are complete, accurate and maintained.
• Support the continuous improvement of Barclays’ Third Party Risk Management framework enabling more effective and proactive management of risk.
• Support the reporting of Third Party Service Provider Risk to Senior Management covering risks, key indicators and control issues across Barclays.
• Oversee and support the business units who manage FMI and Introducer agreements to ensure compliance with the TPSP requirements.
• Work closely with the Regulatory Oversight team (a part of TPRC&G) to understand emerging themes that may require enhancements to the TPSP framework.

• Excellent communication skills, consultative business partnering approach with a collaborative style
• Taking initiative, creative problem solving to identify the “art of the possible”
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical/data manipulation skills and an ability to make sound judgements and be comfortable influencing peers and stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Practical training in a reputable blue chip or consulting approach to third party risk management/governance and process design
• Proficient in the use of ORAC; ProcessUnity and Tableau reporting platform
• Degree level, or other advanced qualification
