Job Description
Farm Manager for Hydroponics – Responsible for daily operations and procurement, Agronomist, Integrated Pest Management, Soilless cultivation.

The candidate should be able to setup and manage the facility independently. They would be responsible for facility, upkeep and production of the crops.

Greenhouse/Hydroponic Operations Manager

Job Description:

Manage hydroponic tomatoes and other crops, assist with flower production

Duties:

Hydroponic Greenhouses:

• Set and manage water cycles
• Manpower Handling / Labours Handling
• Mix and maintain fertilizer rates
• Prune and trellis crops
• Manage & schedule harvest based on crop/market/auction schedule
• Disease and pest management
• Scout/monitor for insect and fungal pathogens
• Apply control measures including pesticide applications
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly task lists
• Direct/train employees in tasks including planting, pruning, harvest
• Seed and transplant lettuce each week
• Maintain and clean hydroponic systems
• Manage daily harvest
• Maintain supply inventory for fertilizer, consumable items, packaging
• Maintain food safety paperwork
