Job Summary The Application Engineer work closely with Sales & Marketing Team to create proposals, design material handling systems, should demonstrate an eagerness to learn our industry and the various aspects involved with our system designs and equipment applications. Application Engineers at Bastian Solutions are given a high level of responsibility and autonomy to make decisions. This role allows you to work with some of the latest technologies in the ever-changing material handling field including Conveyors, Sorters, ASRS, robotics, AGV’s, and more.
General Responsibilities

• Design equipment with details necessary for customer acceptance.
• Developing Pre-sales material handling equipment layout drawings based on RFQ inputs

• Highly skilled & knowledge in creating AutoCAD 2D drawings.
• Reports to our senior design/application engineer & work closely with USA team.

• Drive and participate in internal and external customer reviews. Provide concepts to customers and sales team to aid in sales.
• Willing to travel customer sites across India as required to study the customer requirement.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,

• Preferably 3 to 4+ years of working experience in an Automated Material Handling environment including design of unit handling & pallet handling conveyors layout drawing.
• Minimum knowledge on sorters & ASRS system.

• Working in Latest version of AutoCAD 2D & 3D software & ability to learn customized cad software.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office product suite

• Good Mechanical Engineering Knowledge as it pertains to design & application.
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills.
• Good Communication skill.
• Enjoy working in team environment.
• Attend meetings on time with active involvement
