Primary Responsibilities:

Process Excellence

• Drive execution and adoption of retail process excellence and create delivery tools in alignment with organizational goals / expectations.
• Align functional initiative roll outs for retail basis business and organizational priorities.

Bata Hub Projects Implementation

Work with various functional teams on new projects / initiatives.

• Test and try new initiatives with a task force comprising of functional experts and retail team in a controlled environment.
• Conduct brain-storming sessions with the task force and retail team to gather insight into various key success indicators.
• Create a detailed analysis and report on the Project trial and submit to Internal Stake holders along with suggestions on extending trial / rejecting or roll-out of the project.

Product and Merchandise

• Execution of merchandise-based projects like ZBM and Space planning.
• Drive apparel business be the Apparel Champion for the stores in the region.
• Align Range Width and line capacity of the stores and oversee the regrouping activity
• Co-ordinate with Store teams and Replenishment POC to solve for pertaining issues.
• Conduct visit in NSO and take corrective actions as required

MAP Implementation

• Drive MAP implementation in store and prepare execution report.
• Creation of Regional MAP and support GM for region and season specific VM plans.
• Conduct regular Store visits and provide feedback on campaign execution at Stores.

Innovation and Competition

• Suggest new ideas / best practices in retail
• Market survey to compare other retail brands with Bata to ensure ‘Customer Delight’ at Bata stores
• Update on Competition Activities and updates in the region.

Virtual Audit and DM Toolkit

• Manage and coordinate the execution and effectiveness of virtual audits in the region and provide necessary inputs and feedback.
• Publish dashboard and analysis of the major findings and actions taken to resolve the gaps.
• Streamline the DM toolkit execution with joint Audits and regular feedback with DMs/RMs

Training

• Ensure training of various process execution and changes for Store teams and Managers.
• Conduct OJTs and sessions at Store and joint sessions with newly joined DM/RM for practical training.

Cost Saving Initiatives (AMC/Carton Sale/NSB/Manpower Blueprint)

• Implementation of cost optimization-based initiatives and projects at regional level.
• Drive store controllable cost and publish reports highlighting the best performers and share best practices to be adopted by other regions.
