Job Description: We are looking for a high-performing sales & growth manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Be part of the leadership team to handle marketing, sales and business development activities of the company globally with a strong focus on USA and Europe geographies.
2. Understand underlying technologies that the company is working on and be involved in client & management discussions in a highly technical area.
3. Constantly re-evaluate and strategize the company’s GTM strategy based on focus customer segments, data-driven insights and customer feedback.
4. Undertake discussions with the Founders and Management on the quarterly sales targets and arrive at redundant plans to achieve such targets, achieve sales targets.
5. Availability and ability to undertake frequent travel to meet customers and represent company in exhibitions and trade conferences.
6. Utilizing CRM tools to track and monitor sales funnel traction and constantly update management on the progress.
7. Responsible for the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and customer outreach activities
8.Networking and relationship building with potential customers during industry events.
9. Represent the company in events, talks, exhibitions and industry forums.
10. Maintain internal database of companies, customers, requirements, etc. and accordingly build strategy to maximize value to the customer with the right pricing and offering package.
11. Coordinate with internal/external content creators, graphic designers and technical teams in creating brand collateral, brochures, website content and social media posts.
12. Identify and liaison with potential sales channel partners, technology collaborations and involve in end-to-end coordination from initial discussions to contracts signatures to coordination to ensure timely delivery and follow-ups.
13. Responsible for smooth execution of pre-sales and post-sales activities, including (a) coordination with legal associates for contracts / international regulations, (b) finance team for invoicing/compliance and (c) technical operations team for timely planning, regulatory paperwork, shipping and delivery of the product.
14. Strategize and chart out a marketing plan and budget to meet the sales target, working with founders/management and accounts department.
15. Responsible for recruitment of marketing and sales team according to management approved budgets.
16. Understanding technicalities and the business model of the company and work with technical team in preparation of project proposals to customers or response to quotations/RFIs.
17. Roll out monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports for board and investors on traction.
18. Assist founders and management in other activities related to fund raise and preparation/presentation of reports and databases of interest.
19. Responsible for all required documentation related to marketing and sales.
20. Learn and take up any other activity assigned by the management in good spirit.
Key Requirements: 8+ years of experience in sales in tech-intensive (hardware focused) product companies selling to private customers with at least 4 years of experience in overseas sales focused on the European and USA geographies.
Desired Skills and Experience:
1. Candidates must be based in a. India b. or resident of USA or Europe.
2. Candidates with a technology start-up experience and operations experience shall be given preference.
3. Masters / Work experience in an area related to satellites / rockets / space industry is a strong consideration.
4. Candidates with prior sales experience in the space-technology industry with experience developing and possessing global contacts are preferred.
5. Strong interpersonal, social and writing skills
