About Team
Denim Design is a nascent team within brand METRONAUT, recently formed with a keen focus to further
build and strengthen the fast-growing Denim category of the Brand.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Will be working closely with the Design leads of the brand to design and develop the Denim range

from concept to Proto with top seller data driven approach.

• Build Concepts and seasonal directions for the brand based on online denim market, consumer,

latest fashion trends, upcoming international and domestic denim brands

• Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of garment construction techniques, feasibility

and cost-effectiveness, through design ideas and directions.

• Implement market trend and consumer understanding into design proposals and translate that into

aesthetically elevated product ranges for the target consumer.

• Develop and maintain all documentations for each season – Range plan developments, Proto

Review decks, Fabric and finish libraries, Design Dockets, etc. as per calendar timelines.

• Proactively maintain constant communication and collaborate with all stakeholders on a day to day

basis.

Qualifications &Experience

 2-3 years’ experience and Grad/Post-grad
 Worked for Jeanswear / casualwear Indian or international brands through Export houses /
Garment manufacturing Factories in India
 A strong bent in research and innovation with a good knowledge of Global fashion trends in
denims.
 Strong knowledge of Denim fabrics and washing is a plus.
 Demonstrates high level aesthetics and creative ability
 Strong communication and articulation of ideas
 Strong organisational skills and highly detail-oriented
 Ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendars
 Ability to handle work independently with minimal supervision
 High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and others like WIX, Word Press etc will be
a plus
 Ability to work in fast pace & dynamic environment
