Manager – Network Engineering
Holding a degree and having a technical background will be required to gain a Network Engineering Manager role. Degrees in the following subjects can be included:

• Computer science
• Computer software/computer systems engineering
• Computer systems and networks
• Electrical/electronic engineering
• Network security management

Along with the required formal degree in a network related field, this role demands atleast 10 years of extensive experience in the network domain. The candidate should have a proven experience in managing a team along with working hands-on with the team. with Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers and modems.
• Deep understanding of how LAN, WLAN and Wireless technologies work
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Provide phone/online support to remotely analyze and resolve customer problems and requests.
• Maintain proper escalation path between customer, company, and vendor, to make sure customer receives the support they require, to mitigate their concerns at the earliest.
• SME for any network related queries
• Liaison between technical teams and senior management
• Train staff to provide first tier technical support
• Have pertinent knowledge/understanding of every configuration parameter of any network device(router/switch/modem/mesh)
• Experience of installing/troubleshooting customers’ network issues on-site
• Should be able to educate the customers and staff in layman terms about any questions related to the network devices and their features or functionalities.
• Good knowledge about popular operating systems and internet browsers.
• Networking based certifications are a plus.

Other necessary skills expected with this role include:

• Proficient communication skills in English and Hindi
• Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
• Ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organization
• Strong passion in technology, network devices and the Internet – Motivated self learner

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentPay: INR175,000.00 – INR300,000.00 per yearSchedule:

• Fixed shift
• Monday to Friday
